Can I use Gmail to send my speaker links?

Yes you can, just follow these steps.

1. Download the csv file of your speakers and their links from Gleanin. You will need to have already uploaded their email addresses.
2. Import the csv file into Google Sheets.
3. If you want to personalise the email you will need to split the name column into first name and last name columns. To do this,
   1. Add several columns to the right of the name column (you need several columns to allow for people with several names.)
   2. Click to highlight the name column
   3. Select the Data menu and then Split Text To Columns
   4. Choose Space as the separator
   5. Remove any of the columns you created that you don't need (you will see which columns are empty by scrolling down the sheet
4. Name the headers of each column as follows:
   1. Column A:
   2. Column B:
   3. Column C:
   4. Column D:
   5. Column E:
5. In the spreadsheet, click on custom menu item Mail Merge > Send Emails.
