How signing in works
- One login for all your accounts - you sign in with your email and password. If you belong to more than one Gleanin account, you can move between them with Switch account.
- Two-factor authentication - if you have turned it on, Gleanin also asks for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
- Locking - after 20 wrong passwords in a row, your account is locked and Gleanin emails you a link to unlock it.
Signing in
- Go to the Gleanin sign-in page
- Enter your Email and Password
- Click Log in
If your email or password is wrong, you will see the message Invalid Email or password.
Signing in with two-factor authentication
If you have turned on two-factor authentication, Gleanin asks for a code after your password:
- Sign in with your Email and Password
- Open your authenticator app
- Enter the 6-digit code it shows for Gleanin
Gleanin checks the code as soon as you’ve entered all six digits. You can also click Verify.
Note: If you have lost access to your authenticator app, please contact us at hello@gleanin.com. Please see Setting up two-factor authentication.
If you’ve forgotten your password
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?
- Enter your Email
- Click Send reset link
- Open the email from Gleanin and click the link
- Enter your New password and enter it again under Confirm password
- Click Reset password
You will see the message Your password has been reset. You can now sign in.
Your password must include a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number and a special character. We recommend at least 10 characters.
Please keep in mind that the reset link works for 6 hours, and you can ask for up to 10 reset emails in 24 hours. If the email doesn’t arrive, please check your spam folder.
If your account is locked
After 20 wrong passwords in a row, your account is locked. While it’s locked, you will still see Invalid Email or password., even with the right password.
- Open the unlock email from Gleanin
- Click the link
You will see Access unlocked! Click Sign in to carry on.
Accepting an invitation to an account
When a colleague invites you to their Gleanin account and you don’t have a Gleanin login yet, you will get an invitation email:
- Open the invitation email and click the link
- Enter your Password. It needs at least 10 characters, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character
- Enter it again under Confirm password
- Click Register
You will be taken to the sign-in page, where you can sign in with your email and new password.
Note: If you already have a Gleanin login, you won’t get an invitation email. The new account will appear under Switch account the next time you sign in.
