If anything below is confusing or you need any help, please let us know, get in touch at hello@gleanin.com

  • Make sure your campaign images include
    • Event name
    • Dates
    • Venue
    • Compelling message and CTA
  • If you want to track conversions for this campaign, make sure that:
    • Gleanin conversion tracking is set up for the campaign and/or
    • Use your own campaign UTM tracking code/link as your destination URL
  • Edit the “Channel & Post Suggestions”:
    • Make sure ALL the sharing channels you want to offer your attendees are enabled
    • Make sure you have checked/edited the suggested post text for each channel and include hashtags were relevant
    • TIP: Don’t be tempted to add “marketing” content to the email text - emails that your attendees send via the Gleanin campaigns are authentically sent by the attendee directly to someone they know (e.g. it will open up their own Outlook/Gmail)
  • Edit the Pop-up settings/text (if you are using the pop-up):
    • Check the default wording and make edits to reflect your own campaign e.g the number of images you have given the attendee to choose from
  • Edit the share tool (if you are using the share tool):
    • You’ll be editing the “splash screen” of the share tool (landing page)
    • Make sure it’s on brand and the messaging is on point
    • Wording around the campaign images will be affected by the changes you make on your Pop-Up settings
    • When using the share tool for your “attendee” campaign, you’ll have a choice of using one of two share tool links:
      • Link 1 - includes Splash screen
      • Link 2 - excludes Splash screen (Image Selection only link)
  • If using the Pop-Up:
    • If you are adding your campaign pop-up to a Eventbrite, Visit, Cvent or Pheedloop registration confirmation page, make sure you select the specific code for those platforms
    • TIP: If you have obsolete attendee campaigns which have not deleted or multiple “attendee” campaigns set up which have not been clearly named, pay extra attention to the campaign pop-up you are selecting the Javascript code for
