Customising Gleanin share tool
The Gleanin share tool enables your stakeholders to promote your event and their involvement by sharing customised images on social media. In this article, we explain how the splash screen and share screen work, and how you can customise both screens and the available social channels and suggested posts from your campaign dashboard.

Splash screen
Splash screen is the first screen in the share tool; it is almost like a welcome landing page for your stakeholders. You can edit the splash screen's text and colour scheme, and it is a great place to add your branding and encourage your stakeholders to take action.
You can:
- Change the wording - this is where you can update the text of the splash image:
- Title - for the header - ie, greeting
- Description - for the body copy - ie, instructions to share
- CTA Button - for the button copy - ie, let's get going!
- Choose colour - which will change the colour of the left side of the banner - please bear in mind that text colour is always white, and you will need to choose a suitable background to make the text visible.
- Add splash image - you can choose to add your event image for even better promotion to the right side of the banner by clicking the Splash image (optional) toggle on and then uploading the image by clicking on the image icon and selecting the image from your device - please make sure that the image size is 1024 x 550px and in .jpg or .png format
- Replace splash image - to replace the existing image, you need to follow the steps above
- Remove splash image - if you don't want to use the image anymore, you can just toggle off the Splash image (optional)
- Save changes / Cancel - if you are happy with the changes made, please make sure you click on Save changes as it doesn't auto-save. Alternatively, you can click Cancel, which will keep the current setup.
Note: You can choose to skip the splash screen and send your stakeholders straight to the share screen stage. You can do this by clicking on the Skip splash screen toggle in the Run Campaign section.

Share screen
The share screen is the second step in the standard share tool flow and displays a preview of the image along with the available sharing channels.
When editing, remember that the preview on the right is for illustration only, the final styling, imagery, and social networks will be pulled from your setup.
Depending on how many image templates your stakeholders can choose from, you can customise the text for both the multi-image and single-image versions.
-
Share screen title - the main header above the image with instructions on choosing the images (if you have more than one) or just sharing (if you only have one asset)
- Social share title - the copy sitting just above the social media channels that the stakeholder can choose from
- Save / Back - please remember to click on Save once you have finished editing, and if you don't want changes to be made, and keep the previous/default copy just click Back.
